Coming Home
You know the feeling. You’re coming home from a rough day, or a long trip away, and you turn the corner and drive onto The Grade. Suddenly it’s all OK, you've made it. The scenic view over the lake, the sight of the fishermen watching their lines, the eagles soaring high above. Suddenly your shoulders relax, you’re home.
Or you feel it as you turn the corner and begin the incline of Wildwood Way. Deer watch you as you ease your way up the hill. After the first bend you see a flock of turkeys enjoying a meal on a neighbor's lawn. At the park your neighbors are walking their dogs, or you see them working in their yards. They wave and smile. They too know the feeling of coming home to the hill.
